Job Aid – Preparing for the Building Condition Assessment Report

To create the Building Condition report for a given building, a few extra objects need to be attached the the Master Asset Profile Property Asset for that building.

This document is intended for users familiar with AiM and the use of the AiM Document repository.  Please access the AiM on-line help or request training from your supervisor if you are not familiar with he AiM Document repository.

 


Building Condition Assessment Report
Description What you will see
Navigate to the Asset Management Module Shows Arrow pointing to Asset Management
Search for the Property Asset by clicking the magnifying glass search for Master Asset Profile Arrow pointing to the magnifying glass search tool next to Master Asset Profile
Set the Asset Type to PROPERTY
Set the Property to the Building Identifier, in this example, “0172”
Click the Execute button		 Shows fields to enter to search for the property asset
Click the Property Asset Link Shows arrow pointing to the property asset link
The photo that should be in the BCA report as the main building photo should be here Shows Arrow pointing to property asset photo
The other images to be included in the report should be in the related documents:

  • The tag “bca_estimate” needs to be set on the image to place in the estimate section of the report
  • The tag “map” needs to be set on the image to place in the mapt section of the repor
